Single-link ID Video
Here's a VIDEO of the ID runs for the single-link angular
positioning system used for the ME 481/581 Project.
You will see...
- Random binary run of 500 samples (0..499)
- Gaussian random run of 500 samples (0..499)
- Step response of 16 samples (0..15)
- Sample frequency is 25 Hz (T = 0.04 sec)
- All runs using most of the existing range (less quantization effects)
- After the movie has loaded click the "play" button to run...
- There is sound, although it's quiet.
- The step input stops when the link is about halfway around...
it then coasts into the stop and bounces off (that is not "overshoot")
Hopefully you get an idea of how the data was collected.
