Announcements for Fall 2007 finals week:
ME 320L:
The final exam will be held in ME300 on Wednesday, Dec. 12
from 10:00AM to 12:00 noon. The exam will be closed book, with
one front & back letter size formula sheet. Convection correlations
will be provided, as will material property tables and other
relevant information. Students are nevertheless expected to know
how to apply correlations, the meaning of various dimensionless
numbers, theorems etc. Format and contents as in previous practice
tests available from ME office. Solutions to all homework sets
are also available from the ME office.
Unless you have already done so, please hand in Design Project 2
to me or to the ME office.
ME 400/500:
Students, provisional grades without optional final are now
available. Please contact me if you are curious. For those who
wish to take the optional final, it will be held in room ME400
on Friday, Dec. 14 from 10:00AM to 12:00 noon. Open book, calculator
may be useful. Please let me know if you would like to take the
final. Unless at least one student requires a final, it will
not be administered.
